Description of the job
We are looking for experienced Chefs and Line Cooks (Bilingual) to help prepare meals according to our Spanish recipes. In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals, plate dishes with an eye for detail and meet the specifications..
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Run the day to day operation of the assigned station in the kitchen.
- Communicate with the Chefs regarding menu items, problem situations or shortages.
- Work closely with standard Spanish recipes and plate presentations in order to maintain standards of quality in production and presentation.
- Store items properly at the end of the shift.
- Ensure a clean, neat and organized work area
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
- Maintain a good working relationship with other employees.
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
Line Cook Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience as a line cook.
- Strong team working and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Experience working a professional, chef driven kitchen.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Experience working saute, grill, broiler, etc.
